Politics or journalism?

When political parties call for a shutdown to protest an attack on an editor you have to look closer. The Hyderabad attack on Siasat Editor Zahid Ali Khan has more to do with his being a candidate in the forthcoming election than with his being an editor. The attack was by activists of  a political party which will contest against him.
