President Pratibha Patil went all out to woo journalists covering the President's office by inviting them with their spouses for a dinner at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Only a few senior women journalists were chosen to share the head table with the President and her husband much to the consternation of the men and a few women. While the men grumbled about gender discrimination, some of the women were keen to know what set the "chosen few" apart from the rest of them.
