The rest of this country has to suffer the wall to wall coverage of the Delhi elections till Feb. 7. But the public service broadcasters are an option. When Narendra Modi was addressing his third rally in the city on Feb. 3 the only channels not showing it live were DD News, Rajya Sabha TV and Lok Sabha TV, apart from the business channels and the Haryana-based news channels. These public funded channels were doing their own thing, perhaps because the model code of conduct for state-funded entities is in force.
