The Times of India has taken credit for a government decision to now exempt   India’s service chiefs from pre embarkation security checks at domestic airports. The paper pointed out last month that while even the top brass of the forces were not exempt from frisking Robert Vadra, Sonia Gandhi’s son in law was, if he was travelling with someone who was entitled to SPG protection.
