Trivialising
On a programme on CNN-IBN titled "Agenda for Change" : Citizen Journalist , that tries to keep a focus on cases of women victims, a reporter called Meghna in a bid to find out the views of 'Boyz" in her city played songs by Honey Singh and the Dabbang item number titled "Fevicol Se" . Nothing wrong with that if you are just trying to elicit their response. But the boys sing and sway along with the videos played out and the female reporter too sways along! So light and permissive is her tone of questioning that one of the boys tells her that he would simply slap a woman back if she slapped him for ogling at her. Perhaps this presenter should be edited out by Rajdeep Sardesai and Anubha Bhonsle.
