Water vs IPL

IN Media Watch Briefs | 07/04/2016

Times Now editor Arnab Goswami needs one victim on every prime time show . On April 6 it was sports anchor Charu Sharma whom he held personally responsible for the IPL being held in Mumbai  despite such a massive water shortage. Sharma in turn challenged Goswami asking him if the Times of India was shutting down all its air conditioners that are water consuming across its offices and not bringing out the paper, as pulp is water consuming. Goswami stumped for a moment, hit out, 'shall I ask you Charu whether you have shaved today ?' When Charu continued to challenge the Times Now editor about what sacrifices he had made personally, Goswami replied : 'I didn't play Holi this year...!' Talk of puerile television debates.
