The budget session ended with a high rate of productivity in both houses, 121 per cent in the Lok Sabha, 91 per cent in the Rajya Sabha. The session also had the highest percentage of Bills introduced and passed within same session in 10 years. But on Saturday morning the news was not to be found in any of the leading newspapers’ Delhi editions, though many gave considerable space to the wit and sparring on the final day in the Rajya Sabha. PTI did not appear to have put out this story either on Friday when PRS Legislative Research released these statistics.
