Which Manmohan?
On January 14 Eenadu ran a report "Manmohan rakshanalo Bhanu!" (Bhanu under Manmohan's protection). The story is about the investigation of Maddelacheruvu Suri's murder and speculation about the alleged killer, Bhanu, taking shelter with his trusted driver, Manmohan Singh. The headline is grossly misleading as any greenhorn sub editor knows that unless it is a well-known person, the name should not figure in the headlines. This was more or less the first time that the name came up in the investigation. Several people were misled by the headline to think that the PM is shielding the alleged killer.
