Lacking objectivity
Letter to the Hoot: I hope with the recent "India First" initiative, Mr Gowsami will return to objective anchoring. He is a rare talent and the country should not lose him,

Referring to Mr Arnab Gowsami's (Times Now anchor) coverage of the supreme court's verdict on the special leave petition on the Ayodhya case deferment, I wonder if he is objective in his anchoring duties. The case in point refers to his utterances at 14:56 hours on 28th September 2010 while he was anchoring the coverage of the supreme court's judgement. he said that not even one second of air time is to be given to the likes of Mr Kalyan Singh and Mr Ashok Singhal. This, I thought smacks of serious lack of objectivity especially for a media house like the Times group.
I have been a follower of Times Now for a few months. i used to like the provocative nature of his anchoring which was fairly objective. But several instances like the one I have mentioned above and the case of the commonwealth games have made me seriously question his objectivity.
i hope with the recent "India First" initiative, Mr Gowsami will return to objective anchoring. He is a rare talent and the country should not lose him.
