Dear Editor,
This pertains to your comment on how different editorials across newspapers carried the story of dissolution of the legislative assembly in
Your commentary on editorials verges on the objective stating the references and the omissions made by each newspaper. However, the scope of the commentary does not prescribe its own editorial. So where we know precisely the leanings of the newspaper(viz pro-UPA, anti-NDA) through Hoot`s critique, we somewhere stop short of understanding its own position on the issue. Where it establishes the lapses and the flaws in this particular case, it also fails to provide a qualified comment on issues like horse-trading, political morality, anti-defection and the future of coalition politics. I can understand this restraint owing to the scope of the article yet it would situate the issue in a more comprehensive context.
This is my personal opinion aspiring to be a suggestion.
