Here`s a question for everyone. How come we never see these questions being asked:
1. Of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: Where is Shiloh Nouvel ?
2. When the state of affairs of Delhi has descended to such depths that a child is kidnapped and parents have to arrange for their own negotiator, when a child was found with its throat slit, and another child was eaten by pigs, apart from running small pieces on this now and then, why is no long-term action being sought ? HT ran a piece on what to parents should do if a child is kidnapped -- does this mean that we have to be resigned to such a state of affairs in the future? This is appalling. How come we never see any questions being asked about the state of the children as a whole, and not those who belong to a group with a label like street children, or physically challenged, etc.
3. At a less tragic level, thanks to the NOIDA-UP bus standoff, children are being made to suffer for no fault of theirs. Some schools have not been able to arrange transport and parents have to manage somehow. How can nitty-gritties of their transactions disrupt services, can`t they be sorted out in their offices? Why doesn`t the media ask the MLAs to comment on such matters if they get a bit of time after commenting on the cricketers and their coach?
