Bengali moshai

IN Media Watch Briefs | 29/08/2011
Sharad Yadav's reference to Arnab Goswami during the debate in Parliament on the Lok Pal bill was unmistakable. Taking on the anchor known for admonishing his guests, Mr. Yadav did not even spare the "young brigade" of the Congress party from appearing on his show. Wonder what the "bengali moshai" as he was referred to will line up on "your channel" tonight, he said. Goswami happens to be from Assam, and is the nephew of the late  Dinesh Goswami, a noted parliamentarian.

A month or two earlier the same journalist received a call, this time from a man, asking if she was going to vote for the BSP.
