After NDTV suing Nielsen, enter Prasar Bharati suing TAM. CEO Jawahar Sircar has said that he is keen on taking legal action against TAM on the suppression of data by TAM when it comes to viewership of DD. PB has pointed out that 62 million of 112 million TV homes are outside the ambit of TAM ratings as they were in rural areas. Apart from this,  other problematic factors  in TAM ratings are non-representation of the sample, data on weekly basis, method of selection of households and confidentiality of the names of panel homes which prevented verification.
