“Final message - people are dying since last night. I am very surprised I am tweeting right now & still alive.” That is a tweet from seven-year-old Bana Alabed who, along with her mother Fatemah, have been live-tweeting the horror of being trapped in eastern Aleppo as Syria’s pro-government forces close in on the pockets of the city that are still held by the rebels. According to the UN human rights office, Syrian forces are entering homes and killing civilians on the spot. Bana is one among roughly 50,000 people trapped in the besieged city.

A journalist received a call from someone saying they were from Aajtak channel and were conducting a survey, asking whom she was going to vote for in 2019. On being told that her vote was secret, the caller assumed she wasn't going to vote for 'Modiji'. The caller, a woman, also didn't identify herself. A month or two earlier the same journalist received a call, this time from a man, asking if she was going to vote for the BSP.
