Rival assertions

IN Media Watch Briefs | 06/11/2008

As happens whenever a new round of a readership survey surfaces, the Hindustan Times and The Times of India  are both claiming to be Delhi’s no. 1,  in identical page one anchor pieces. HT claims to be no. 1 in Delhi in NRS 2008 round 2, and no.1 in the national capital region as well.  TOI claims the most read papers in Delhi are TOI and NBT. Exchange4media.com confirms that HT is no. 1 both in Delhi and in the NCR.

Clearly, the run to the 2019 elections is on. A journalist received a call from someone saying they were from Aajtak channel and were conducting a survey, asking whom she was going to vote for in 2019. On being told that her vote was secret, the caller assumed she wasn't going to vote for 'Modiji'. The caller, a woman, also didn't identify herself. A month or two earlier the same journalist received a call, this time from a man, asking if she was going to vote for the BSP.
